Spelling - Spelling words are written in notebooks on Monday, notebooks go home for children to learn their words on the Monday. Notebooks then come back to school on Friday for buddy testing. If your child is absent on Monday they need to connect with me to make sure they get their words. Spelling words are available in the resources folder on the main class page.

Homework - Homework is given out on Mondays (every second week) and is due back at school the following Wednesday, allowing children a weekend to complete their work. There is an expectation that homework is quality work ie. neat handwriting in pencil, rulers are used for lines and general tidiness. Thank you for your support in this matter. If your child does not bring a sheet home, homework is available on our Kowhai Team webpage.
